Some weekend family time

This a bit of what we got up to this weekend....

This is a park in WA called the Lottery West Playground and it is awesome there are so many different things for the kids to do and an all important cafe for the parents to get their coffee fix : ) We got there nice and early this morning and had a great picnic. We are blessed in Western Australia to have fabulous weather even in the middle of winter. It was a sunny 20 something day here and so how could anyone stay inside?

As it inches closed to hotter weather we are starting to make our annual family spring/summer list. This consists of different activities we hear of or want to do around Perth, we do this every year so that when it comes to the weekend we can have a look at the list to give us some ideas of what we want to do. The list so far for the summer consists of picking strawberries at the local strawberry farm, going to the pool/beach, taking a trip down to a tulip park about an hour away from our house (we go there every year), taking Flynn to the Maritime Museum.

As Flynn is obsessed with anything that moves/ has wheels he spent a lot of time on the plane and fire truck as he always does when we got to this park!!!

Some quality local park time on Saturday- (we are blessed to have a ton of great parks around us and so we pick a different one to go to each time we go for a family walk!!)A new hairstyle thanks to daddy- Hope you all had a great weekend, make sure you fit in some family time!!
